Sotos Syndrome: A Tribute to Sandy

This is a wonderful tribute to a special memory of a special child – Sandy’s “ I Wanna Go Home” a study of Cerebral Gigantism – Sotos Syndrome. Written by her mother, Susan Knittle-Hunter, with the support of her husband, Calvin, both having degrees in special education and psychology, is a moving work on their life and times to Sandy’s care. I am sure that many parents can relate to the daily activities necessary to care for these special children and how much of their days and nights are devoted to the care and needs of these children and in return, received their special love. A memory never to be forgotten, even though seemingly brief. (Foreword by Gerald I. Sugarman, M.D., F.A.A.P., F.A.A.F.P., J.D.)
